The Sound of Music

The Sound of Music ran from 29 September 2017 until 25 February 2018 at Nöjesteatern.

Based on the uplifting true story of the von Trapp family, The Sound of Music was the final collaboration between Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, and is one of the most successful Oscar-winning film musicals of all time.

The music in the musical touches people of all ages and features some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the musical stage, including ‘My Favourite Things’, ‘Do-Re-Mi’, ‘Edelweiss’, ‘Climb Ev’ry Mountain’, ‘Sixteen Going on Seventeen’, ‘The Lonely Goatherd’ and of course the magnificent title song ‘The Sound of Music.

The cast incuded Elisa Lindström, Christopher Wollter, Sofie Lindberg, Anders Aldgård, Beatrice Järås, Björn Forsberg, Eva-Lotta Hultman, Fabian Engstrand, Björn Andersson and Johan Wennerstrand.
