West Side Story ran from 27 September 2013 until 15 December 2013.

The story in question is based on Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Romeo and Juliet, recast in a modern guise. The title refers to the West Side of Manhattan and the events focus on two rival gangs in 1950s New York. The show is famous for its unique narrative form, where the dance plays a major role in describing and propelling the action. The music references contemporary dance music, Latin rhythms and jazz, with unforgettable tunes such as Maria, Tonight, Somewhere, America and I Feel Pretty.
